Melissa is a Biotechnology graduate from the University of Pavia — one of Italy's oldest and
most respected universities. Having grown up entirely within the Italian education system, she
knows from the inside exactly how Italian is structured and what learners arriving from other
countries need most to feel capable and confident.
Before founding Accademia Melitalia, she gained professional experience in international
organisations including GSK. She has been teaching Italian to adult and young learners for more
than four years. She now leads a team of qualified Italian national teachers committed to the
highest standard of language education.
