1Who this course is for

Complete beginners

You do not need any Italian to join. We start from the alphabet, correct pronunciation and the first building blocks.

People who passed A2 but are still afraid to speak

This is not a grammar-only course. Every lesson has real speaking practice, so you stop freezing and start talking.

Anyone who needs Italian for daily life, work or documents

Talking to your employer, at the doctor, at the bank, or filling in forms: the Italian you actually need.

After A2 you can continue to B1 with us, taught fully in Italian.

2How the classes work

One live class a week, 2½ hours, on Zoom. A phone is enough.

Your class link comes by email and as an Accademia Melitalia app notification one hour before every class. WhatsApp is only for reminders about special things.

Missed a class? The recording is in the app. Still, please join live: we practise a lot in class, and coming regularly is what gives the best results.

Speaking practice with classmates (Knowledge Sharing Sessions) twice a week or more.

Daily Dose: new words on your phone every day, and a short quiz after each lesson.

Grammar is taught simply, as a tool to build your own sentences, not rules to memorise.

3What you pay

IVA is included. There is no registration fee. You can pay online by card on our website, or by bank transfer (bonifico). Paying online saves you €2 every month, and your payment is marked straight away, so your class videos unlock at once. A bank transfer has to be checked and entered by hand by one of our staff, which can take a little time (and small mistakes can happen), so your videos may stay locked until then. Bank transfer is still very welcome: just send a photo of the receipt to our WhatsApp and we will update it as soon as we can.

Paying confirms your seat

Pay now, or after the 2 free sessions. The first month covers those two sessions. After you pay, we send you a link to give the delivery address for your book (delivery takes 10–14 days).

If the group fills first, you go on the waiting list

So if you already know us, paying early is safest. If you are moved to the waiting list we tell you by email and in the app; please do not pay then.

5What we ask of you

Attend your class every week

Coming every week is what makes you progress fastest.

If you miss a class, watch the recording

Do not let a missed lesson stay missed.

Do the quiz after each lesson

A few minutes on your phone makes a big difference.

Open the app every day

Five minutes with Daily Dose keeps Italian fresh between classes.

Ask questions in class

If something is not clear, ask straight away.

6Your certificate

You receive an official Attestato di Partecipazione. Students use it for legal documents, the Refugee Commission and employers. It certifies your attendance; the A2 level itself comes from the CILS exam, which we can help you sit near where you live.

Before the course starts

A letter saying you are registered for a course that has not started yet. Only after you have paid and confirmed your seat.

During the course

A letter with the start date, end date and the days you attended. All fees due up to that date must be paid.

At the end

The full Attestato di Partecipazione, showing the days you attended.

Attendance is tracked by our system. We only list the days you really attended.
