Accademia Melitalia is an Italian language institute for Sri Lankan adults living in Italy. We teach you how to speak, read and write Italian for real daily life — not just to pass a test. Classes are conducted in Sinhala or English so you understand every word.
Six points. Read them, then pick your group.
Many people say they just want to speak — no grammar. But grammar is what lets you build sentences on your own, not just repeat what you heard. We teach both in the simplest way possible, so you can use Italian every day with real confidence.
You do not need any Italian at all to join. We begin from the alphabet, correct pronunciation, and the very first building blocks of the language.
Whether you need to speak with your employer, understand official documents, communicate at a medical appointment, or simply feel less isolated — this course builds the Italian you actually need.
This course takes you from zero to A2 in 10 months. Those who want to keep going can continue to B1 — the level needed for many Italian residency and citizenship applications.
Everything is transparent. Here is exactly what you pay, when you pay it, and what you receive in return.
So that nothing comes as a surprise, here is exactly what happens between registering and the first lesson — in three steps.
The moment you send the form, your name joins the list for the group you chose, in the order it arrived. We then contact you on WhatsApp before the course begins.
There is nothing to pay first. Join the first two sessions, meet the teacher and the group, and see how we teach. Whether you continue is then your decision.
The first month's fee covers the two sessions you already attended. Your seat in the group becomes yours only once that payment is made, and your book is posted at the same time.
All four groups follow exactly the same curriculum, with the same teachers and the same time — 7:30 PM to 10:00 PM. The only difference is the day. Classes begin on 12 and 13 September and on 21 and 23 October 2026. We take a limited number of students into each group, and seats are counted as students pay and confirm them — see how that works.
These groups started earlier in the year and are no longer accepting new students, because the lessons are already well under way. Please register for one of the four new groups above.
At the end of the course, you receive an official Attestato di Partecipazione issued by Accademia Melitalia. This is not just a participation sticker — it is a recognised document you can use in real, important situations.
What you receive depends on when you need it: before the course starts, during the course, or at the end. It helps to know this in advance.
The course works — but only if you show up. Here is what we need from every student to make sure your time and money produce real results.
Regular attendance is the single biggest factor in how fast you progress. If you miss a lesson, watch the recording through the app — but try not to make it a habit.
Each week you will receive a short quiz and practice exercise. These take only a few minutes, but they make a significant difference to how much you retain and how quickly you improve.
The Daily Dose feature sends you a short lesson or vocabulary exercise each morning. Spending five minutes with it every day keeps Italian active in your mind between weekly classes.
All four new groups start in September and October 2026 — Saturday 12 September, Sunday 13 September, Wednesday 21 October and Friday 23 October — and each takes a limited number of students. Once that number is reached by students who have paid and confirmed their seats, new registrations for that group close. So if you would like to join the group on the day you chose, it is easier to confirm your seat without leaving it too late. If you have questions before signing up — about the course, the payment method, or anything else — you are welcome to message us directly on WhatsApp and we will reply promptly.
