All adult groups learn the same lessons with the same teachers. Only the day is different.

A few short steps: about you, your contact details and home address, then check and confirm. For a child, the parent fills it in.

Try, then confirm your seat

Adults pay nothing for the first two sessions. Paying confirms your seat.

Questions people ask us

Do I need a computer?

No. A smartphone is enough. Classes run on Zoom, which works on any phone, tablet or computer. One hour before each class we send you the link by email and as an Accademia Melitalia app notification. WhatsApp is only for reminders about special things.

Is the teaching in Sinhala?

Yes. Italian is explained in Sinhala or English, whichever you prefer, so you understand every word.

Can I join a group that has already started?

Yes. You can join a new group for about a month after its first class: the lessons you missed are in the recordings. If you already know some Italian, you may also be able to join a group that has been running for longer.

What if I miss a class?

Watch the recording in the Accademia Melitalia app. Please try not to make it a habit: coming every week is what makes the course work.

How do I pay each month?

Online by card through our website, or by bank transfer (bonifico) to our bank account. If you pay by bank transfer, send a photo of the receipt to our WhatsApp.

Is the certificate accepted for official use?

You receive an official Attestato di Partecipazione. Students use it for legal documents, the refugee commission and employers. It lists only the days you really attended.
