Free games: privacy and consent notice
Version 2026-10-16
What this is
Free Italian learning games on the Accademia Melitalia website: articles, verbs and translation, level by level, with a public leaderboard during campaigns like the Italian Language Week.
What we collect
- Name and surname, age or date of birth.
- WhatsApp number and email (for a child: the parent's too).
- The city where you live, the year you first came to Italy, and whether Italian is your first language.
- Your game answers, scores, levels and when you play.
Why
- To run your games account, levels and scores.
- To check who can win campaign prizes, and to contact winners.
- To send you messages about the games and your prizes on WhatsApp or by email.
The public leaderboard
Your name is hidden on the leaderboard (for example "K***n P."), with your city. Your full name is shown only if you choose it (for a child, only if a parent chooses it). You can hide it again at any time.
Children under 18
A child under 18 can only play after a parent or guardian gives permission. A parent can withdraw permission at any time by contacting us; the child's account is then closed and their details deleted.
How long we keep it, and your rights
We keep your data while your games account is open. You can ask to see, correct or delete it at any time. More in our privacy policy.
